A stackable battery, a single part number from 5 to 40 kWh
SolisStorage FlexHome is the stackable lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery from Ginlong Solis, designed for installers: the 5 kWh modules stack on top of each other without inter-module cabling.
Each 5 kWh module (100 Ah cells) stacks from 1 to 8 levels to build a 5 to 40 kWh stack, topped by a control box that concentrates the BMS, the protections and the communication. The electrical connections are established automatically as the modules are stacked: a site is deployed in about fifteen minutes, without cabling between modules, and the capacity remains expandable after commissioning. Up to 4 systems in parallel raise the storage to 160 kWh on the DC bus.
For distributor and installer alike, the benefit is immediate: a single module part number covers every capacity from 5 to 40 kWh. Sizing is adjusted to the customer's consumption profile without multiplying the references held in stock, and the IP66 rating allows installation indoors as well as outdoors, floor-standing (default configuration) or wall-mounted.
FlexHome-L low voltage or FlexHome-H high voltage
The FlexHome-L variant (44.8–57.6 V) pairs with the Solis low-voltage hybrid inverters S6-EH1P, S6-EH2P and S6-EH3P…-L, single-phase or three-phase. The 51.2 V architecture rules out any risk of electric arcing and simplifies maintenance operations. The FlexHome-H variant (high voltage, 15 to 40 kWh) supports the three-phase hybrids S6-EH3P(5-12)K-H and S6-EH3P(12-20)K-H when the project calls for high-voltage coupling. In both cases, CAN / RS485 communication ensures native dialogue with the Solis inverter.
On the reliability side, Solis states grade A LFP cells, redundant five-level safety, more than 6000 cycles and 10 years of service life, with a depth of discharge of 100 %. The built-in heating function maintains charging down to −20 °C, an asset for outdoor installations and high-altitude sites.

FlexHome-H (high voltage)
The high-voltage variant FlexHome-H uses the same stackable architecture with 5 kWh LFP modules (100 Ah) for stacks of 15 to 40 kWh (15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 kWh), expandable up to 160 kWh in total. It keeps the IP66 rating, the −20 to 55 °C operating range, a service life of ≥ 6000 cycles and discharge possible at 1C with 100 % DOD.
