A three-phase hybrid inverter for commercial buildings and off-grid sites

The Solis S6-EH3P (29.9-50)K-H is the high-voltage three-phase hybrid inverter of the SOLARATOR series from Ginlong Solis, available in four power ratings — 29.9, 30, 40 and 50 kW — for commercial buildings, microgrids and off-grid sites.

On the solar side, it accepts up to twice its rated power as PV input (up to 100 kWp of arrays on the 50 kW model), at 1000 V, with 3 or 4 MPPTs (150–850 V range) and a current of 20 A per string compatible with today's high-power photovoltaic modules. On the storage side, its 2 independent battery ports (70 A each, 140 A in parallel) cover high-voltage lithium batteries from 150 to 800 V and modules from 100 to 280 Ah — including the SolisStorage FlexHome-H — with simple capacity expansion, even after commissioning.

Back-up, generator and microgrids

Its grid/off-grid changeover in under 10 ms ensures a power supply with no perceptible interruption, and its overload of 160 % for 2 seconds in off-grid mode absorbs the start-up of heavy loads (pumps, compressors, motors). The three-in-one interface brings grid-connected photovoltaics, wind power and a diesel generator — accepted from 20 to 100 % of rated power — together in the same system: a decisive advantage for weak grids, generator hybridisation and off-grid sites. Battery-reserve management and intelligent prioritisation of critical loads extend back-up autonomy.

Up to 6 inverters in parallel build scalable systems reaching 500 kW (a Solis STS cabinet is recommended beyond 6 units). Operation is managed locally on the 7-inch industrial display or remotely via SolisCloud: monitoring, AI-based optimisation and instant diagnostics. Finally, its IP66 rating and operating range from −25 to +60 °C allow outdoor installation.
