The Grundfos SP 18 submersible pump replaces the former SP 17 in the SP range. Made entirely of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, it retains the proven hydraulics of the series (nominal flow rate ~18 m³/h) with even further optimised efficiency. Ideal for borehole, water supply and irrigation applications.

The Grundfos SP range offers high resistance to sand and other abrasives, motor burnout protection, and easy maintenance. A complete monitoring and control system is available for constant optimisation of the pumping system.

SP systems are used worldwide wherever efficient water handling is called for. The main application areas are irrigation of farmland and groundwater extraction for tap water, but there are many other, more specialised uses. Wherever you need water to move, SP systems will do it with complete reliability.

Our solar pump inverters GRUNDFOS RSI, ABB ACS355 and SCHNEIDER ATV312 pairs easily with SP submersible pumps, creating a solar powered system which allows maximum components flexibility.

You can switch the solar inverter to mains power or generator if required, because our drives are compatible to both AC and DC power input without the need to change any parameter settings. Simply connect the two power sources via an external switchover box, and you take advantage of solar energy during the day and mains power or generator during the night.
