The Pylontech OPTIM US A300-HY is a commercial and industrial energy storage system (BESS) with integrated hybrid inverters, built on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry. Supplied as a ready-to-connect outdoor cabinet, it combines battery modules, PCS inverters, thermal management and fire protection for peak-shaving, energy time-shift, self-consumption and long-duration backup applications.

Each cabinet is configured to order according to the number of HM5A180F modules (15.68 kWh each). Two battery-string architectures are available:

Safety & certifications

The A300-HY integrates aerosol fire suppression, combustible-gas, smoke and temperature detectors, an emergency power-off (EPO) and electrical protections (circuit breakers, SPD, MCCB). It meets the main safety and transport standards:

  • Battery & system safety: UL 9540, UL 9540A, UL 1973, UL 1642, IEC 62619, IEC 63056, IEC 62477-1, IEC 62040-1.
  • Transport: UN 38.3.
  • European compliance: CE (EMC Directive 2014/30/EU and LVD 2014/35/EU), UKCA, VDE-AR-E 2510-50.
