Whether it is deployed in regions far from the grid or in homes connected to the public utility, the Sunny Island battery inverter is suited to every situation. Users benefit from the experience of more than 120,000 Sunny Island units installed all over the world. Thanks to its integrated web interface and the standard WLAN and Ethernet interfaces, the Sunny Island 4.4M / 6.0H / 8.0H is easy to configure and monitor from a smartphone or tablet. As a key component of the SMA Flexible Storage System, the Sunny Island temporarily stores self-generated power, enabling solar electricity to be used around the clock. Its high protection class, wide temperature range and overload capacity continuously ensure the level of safety required by off-grid installations. Intelligent load and energy management keeps the system running even in critical situations.

- Single cluster, three-phase, made up of 3 SI 6.0H or SI 8.0H each connected to one phase, to build systems up to 24 kW
- Multicluster, three-phase, made up of three SI 6.0H or SI 8.0H inverters per cluster, to build systems up to 300 kW
