Thanks to its light weight and the SnapINverter mounting system, the transformerless Fronius Eco can be installed quickly and easily, either indoors or outdoors. This inverter generation sets new standards in terms of safety with its IP 66 protection class. Its integrated all-pole string fuse holders mean string collection boxes are no longer required, and optional overvoltage protection turns the inverter into an integrated DC combiner box.
SUPERFLEX DESIGN
The Fronius SuperFlex Design provides maximum flexibility when designing the PV system. A wide DC input voltage range together with high system voltage make planning extremely simple and incredibly flexible, even for demanding roof layouts.
DYNAMIC PEAK MANAGER
The Dynamic Peak Manager is an MPP tracking algorithm that dynamically adapts its behaviour when searching for the optimal operating point. It automatically checks the entire characteristic curve and finds the Global Maximum Power Point (GMPP), even in conditions of partial shade.
ACTIVE COOLING AND COMMUNICATION
Active cooling technology uses fans to avoid hot spots and regulate air circulation, keeping the power electronics cool. This has a positive effect on the service life of the device, optimises yields and reduces costs. The fully integrated data communication package — with datalogging, WLAN, Ethernet, energy management and an integrated web server — connects the inverter to the internet by network cable or WLAN, with no additional cabling. Connections to third-party components are possible via Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec or the Fronius Solar API (JSON). The Eco Light version is supplied without the data communication / datalogging package.
