Smart monitoring without a display
The Victron SmartShunt is an all-in-one battery monitor designed to deliver accurate monitoring without requiring a dedicated display. Thanks to its built-in Bluetooth connectivity, it connects easily to the VictronConnect app on your smartphone or tablet, letting you view essential data in real time such as state of charge, voltage, current, remaining run time and battery history. It also features a VE.Direct port for integration with GX systems, providing maximum flexibility for a variety of energy configurations.
Advanced technical performance
Available in 300 A, 500 A, 1000 A and 2000 A versions, the SmartShunt covers a wide range of applications, from residential installations to industrial systems. It supports a supply-voltage range of 6.5 to 70 VDC and can monitor batteries with a capacity of up to 9999 Ah. Its measurement accuracy is remarkable, with a resolution of ±0.01 A for current and ±0.01 V for voltage. In addition, it offers the ability to monitor a second battery or a mid-point, or to connect a temperature sensor, further enhancing its versatility.
Choice between IP21 and IP65 depending on the environment
The SmartShunt is offered in two versions to suit different environments. The IP21 version is ideal for indoor installations, providing protection against solid objects larger than 12 mm. The IP65 version, on the other hand, is designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, with full protection against dust and water jets. The latter is particularly recommended for marine applications, off-road vehicles or any other environment exposed to moisture and dust. The choice between these two versions will therefore depend on the specific conditions of your installation.
