High-performance, connected lithium storage
The Victron Lithium Smart LiFePO₄ 12.8 V and 25.6 V batteries combine safety, durability and on-board intelligence to meet the needs of the most demanding installations. Available in capacities from 60 Ah to 200 Ah, they make it possible to build storage systems from 0.8 to more than 10 kWh, with the option of parallel and series connection (up to 20 batteries in 48 V). Thanks to their lithium-iron-phosphate chemistry, they deliver more than 5,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, increased thermal resistance and optimised energy density, while limiting the risk of combustion.
Bluetooth monitoring and advanced management
Every battery in the Smart range integrates a Bluetooth monitoring system compatible with the VictronConnect app. The user can view in real time the voltage of each cell, the temperature, the charge/discharge current and the state of health of the battery. This feature simplifies both diagnostics and maintenance, while offering great transparency over the behaviour of the system. The batteries are also fitted with internal safety functions that protect against over-currents, extreme temperatures and imbalances between cells.
Designed for professional systems
Victron Lithium Smart batteries are designed for smooth integration into complex energy architectures. They feature BMS CAN and BTV (Battery Temperature & Voltage) communication ports to talk to the Victron managers (VE.Bus BMS, Lynx BMS, Smart BMS CL 12/100, etc.). They accept charging currents of up to 100 A depending on the model, with adjustable charging voltages (14.2 V for the 12.8 V units, 28.4 V for the 25.6 V units). Their operation is optimal between -10 °C and +50 °C in discharge, and from 5 °C in charge, for maximum reliability in all environments.
Victron BMS systems: protection and intelligent control
To guarantee the longevity and safety of the Smart batteries, Victron offers a complete range of BMS units suited to different needs. The Smart BMS CL 12/100 is designed for 12 V on-board applications with an alternator; the Lynx Smart BMS integrates into DC systems with modular Lynx distribution; and the MiniBMS suits simple installations with a single bank. All of these systems handle cell management, the triggering of relays when a threshold is exceeded, and the transmission of data to a GX system via VE.Direct or VE.Can. They also make it possible to start a generator or disconnect loads according to precise rules.
VE.Bus BMS V2: the heart of systems with inverter/chargers
The VE.Bus BMS V2 is the reference BMS for systems that include MultiPlus or Quattro units. It monitors the state of the Smart batteries and instantly commands the disconnection of the VE.Bus inverter/chargers in the event of voltage or temperature outside limits. It is fitted with two programmable relays to automatically switch loads or a generator on or off, depending on the state of the battery. The VE.Bus BMS V2 is essential in any hybrid or off-grid installation using Victron VE.Bus inverter/chargers.
