The all-in-one solution from Victron Energy
The Victron EasySolar-II GX combines in a single compact enclosure:
• A MultiPlus-II inverter/charger (24/3000, 48/3000 or 48/5000)
• A SmartSolar MPPT-Tr 250/70 or 250/100 solar charge controller
• A GX interface with a 2-line LCD display.
Pre-wired and pre-assembled, this unit allows fast commissioning, reducing installation time and integration costs.
EasySolar-II GX: solar, storage and inverter combined
The EasySolar-II GX inherits the advanced features of the MultiPlus, with the added benefit of ESS compatibility and intelligent management of the energy sources. It supports an external current transformer to extend the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions. It is the ideal solution for off-grid installations, with anti-islanding certification and multi-country compatibility.
On-line connection with the grid
In a grid-connected configuration, the EasySolar-II GX optimises the use of solar energy: the surplus is stored or fed in, while in the event of a shortfall the unit compensates with the grid or the batteries. In the event of a grid failure, it continues to supply the priority loads through its main output.
Parallel-to-grid mode
Thanks to an external current transformer or a wattmeter, the EasySolar-II GX dynamically adjusts self-consumption and can prevent any export to the grid if required. In the event of an outage, the essential loads remain supplied without interruption.
A built-in GX system with LCD display
Integrated into the unit, the GX module provides a clear display of the data from the solar charge controller, the MultiPlus and the battery. Connected to the network via BMS-Can, USB or VE.Direct, it also allows remote supervision from a smartphone or tablet. A single GX is enough, even in a three-phase or parallel configuration.
Uninterrupted switchover (UPS function)
During a grid failure, or when the generator is switched off, the EasySolar-II automatically switches to inverter mode. The transfer is so fast that sensitive equipment remains supplied without interruption, ensuring continuous operation even in demanding professional environments.
Dedicated auxiliary AC output
In addition to the standard output, a secondary output is available to automatically disconnect specific loads when the system is running on battery only. Ideal for non-critical appliances such as water heaters or electric heating elements.
PowerControl function for shore power
With its high charging capacity, the EasySolar-II can place a heavy demand on a shore connection or a generator. To limit this, a maximum value can be set, and the unit adjusts its power so as not to exceed this threshold, while still ensuring optimal recharging of the battery.
PowerAssist: active support of the AC source
PowerAssist allows the EasySolar-II to supplement the power of the shore connection or the generator with that of the battery. This makes it possible to use powerful appliances even on limited supplies, while avoiding tripping or overloads.
Stand-alone power supply during an outage
Thanks to the EasySolar-II, homes fitted with solar panels or other renewable sources can keep running during a grid failure. The MultiPlus-II recharges the batteries when production is in surplus, and supplies essential equipment (pumps, internet router, lighting) during outages.
Built-in programmable relay
The EasySolar-II model is fitted with a multifunction relay configurable from the GX interface. Configured by default as an alarm relay, it can be used to start a generator or to activate an external system on a custom condition.
Local and remote supervision
Thanks to its built-in GX interface, you can monitor the performance of your system in real time through the VRM portal. Accessible from any connected device, this interface offers full control over all parameters, as well as the automation of actions such as starting a generator.
