Grundfos CRN 255 is the all-stainless-steel EN 1.4401 (AISI 316) version of the CR 255 — for aggressive liquids, process water and water treatment. Three-phase IE4 motor from 30 to 200 kW. 11 stage variants. DN 200 flange connection (or PJE/Victaulic grooved coupling).

Solar pumping systems for reliable Water Supply in Africa

Grundfos CRN is the all-stainless-steel version of the CR vertical multistage in-line centrifugal pumps: suction and discharge ports are on the same level, for a compact footprint. The CRN 255 covers a flow rate up to 300 m3/h (255 m3/h nominal) and a TDH up to 285 m, with a maximum efficiency of 84%.

All-stainless-steel construction: all parts in contact with the liquid are made of EN 1.4401 (AISI 316) stainless steel — the choice for aggressive and industrial liquids (acids, alkalis, reverse osmosis, demineralisation, separators). Balanced cartridge mechanical seal, maintenance-free. Liquid temperature -20 to +120 °C, operating pressure up to 40 bar depending on the model.

High-efficiency three-phase IE4 motor, from 30 to 200 kW (Grundfos MG up to 22 kW, Innomotics — formerly Siemens — above). Variable-speed control is possible with an external Grundfos CUE frequency converter, for constant pressure and energy savings.

Applications: water boosting and distribution, industrial process water, washing plants, boiler feed, cooling and air conditioning, irrigation, water treatment (ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis). DN 200 flange connection (or PJE/Victaulic grooved coupling). 11 stage variants available (see table above) to match the operating point precisely.
