Grundfos CR 1s pumps are vertical multistage centrifugal pumps with an in-line design, allowing installation in a horizontal one-pipe system where the suction and discharge ports are in the same horizontal plane and have the same pipe dimensions. Cast iron pump head and base, AISI 304 stainless steel hydraulics, maintenance-free cartridge mechanical seal. Three-phase IE3 motor from 0.37 to 1.1 kW. 22 stage variants to cover every duty point.

The new generation of Grundfos CR pumps features a full range of sizes and limitless scope for combinations to suit your specific needs.

The basic CR pump range is available in four different materials: cast iron, two grades of stainless steel and titanium. Thirteen flow sizes are capable of producing up to 180 m3/h at 50 bar, with a variety of shaft seals, rubber materials and supply voltages.

A CR pump consists of two main components: the motor and the pump unit. The motor is a Grundfos motor designed to EN standards. The pump unit consists of optimised hydraulics, various types of connections, a sleeve, a pump head and various other parts.

Grundfos CR pumps are vertical multistage centrifugal pumps. : A centrifugal pump has a stationary part and a rotating part. the rotating part is called the impeller. the impeller has a number of vanes which force the water to rotate and creates flow. The stationary part is called the pump housing, or pump bowl. the bowl also has a number of vanes called guide vanes. their function is to stop the water’s rotation and to convert the energy in the rotation to pressure.

The CR is renowned for its reliability. And rightly so. The CR design has all the durability that customers expect from a high-quality multistage pump – and then some. CR have unique features to ensure unsurpassed reliability: dry-running protection, a unique cartridge seal, and a fulltitanium variant.

CR, CRI and CRN pumps are fitted with a totally enclosed, fan-cooled, 2-pole Grundfos standard motor with principal dimensions to EN standards.
